Subject: Lotus Traveler 8.5.3.3 Not 'pushing' Over Company WiFi
Feedback Type: Problem
Product Area: Notes Traveler
Technical Area: Functionality
Platform: Windows
Release: 8.5.3
Reproducible: Always
Hi, I have a single Traveler 8.5.3.3 IF1 server installed on Domino 8.5.3 FP2 / Windows 2008 R2. This server is on our DMZ and replicates with a couple of mail servers on the LAN.
Am using iPhone 4S' running iOS 6.
I have DNS configured on the LAN to point to the DMZ address of the Traveler server and it obviously has a WAN facing IP as well.
The issue I have is that 'push' doesn't appear to work when connected to the LAN WiFi network as Email only appears when you go into the mail app. Everything works fine when connected to just the mobile network as push notifications for Email are within 10 secs.
I thought it might be an iOS 6 issue but have installed IF1 on the Traveler server which apparently fixes this issue. As the iPhones were running iOS 5 when authorised to the server I have also deleted and re-added again.
Anyone seen this before and have any suggestions?
Thanks.
Pete.
